COURSE DESCRIPTION
Helping students in 3rd through 5th grades become confident in approaching complex mathematical problems will serve them well throughout their academic careers and beyond. With effective routines for problem-solving, we can support students in developing the muscle of logical reasoning, breaking down complexity, and approaching unknowns with a growth mindset. This mini course guides educators in assisting students with monitoring and reflecting on their problem-solving journey, teaching effective visual representation techniques, exposing students to various problem-solving strategies, and fostering their ability to articulate mathematical concepts.
